It belongs to the Mouzenis Group and operates flights to more than 10 destinations in Greece, as well as to over

The company's name is not coincidental. The name Ellinair is derived from the components 'Ellinikos' (Greek) + 'aeras' (air), meaning Greek air (Ellinair).

The company's first routes operated from cities in Russia and Georgia to Thessaloniki. The reason was none other than to serve the thousands of tourists from the Mouzenidis Group, through organised tour packages from these countries.

The company now has 4 bases in Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Corfu, and Moscow.

Ellinair Airlines Fleet

The company's fleet consists of 3 different aircraft types.

It started with the "small" Airbus A319-100 with a capacity of 144 passengers.

Between 2017-2018, the company upgraded its fleet and ordered 3 Airbus 320s, and also leased 3 Boeing 737-300s to meet the increasing demand.

The company's 3 Boeing aircraft are leased from Bul Air and Cobrex Trans.

Flights operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until 01/10/2018.
