How to get significant discounts on airline tickets

All of us who travel always try to save money, both on our transport and, naturally, on accommodation and travel expenses in the place we visit.

And while accommodation costs can be reduced with new methods that have emerged – such as staying in an Airbnb apartment – airline tickets remain a bit of a mystery regarding how we can reduce the cost or secure significant discounts.

If you have Vodafone CU or know someone who uses this service, then until 31/12/2017 you can get a £10 discount on airline tickets via airtickets!

Specifically, by sending an SMS “air“ to 54646, you will receive your unique code which you will enter during the booking process in the airtickets app on your mobile (the app is available for both the Appstore and PlayStore).

The code is valid for 30 days, and the cost per SMS is £0.20. So, with a simple SMS, you save £9.80 on your airtickets flights!

AEGEAN airline tickets via the AEGEAN BONUS VISA credit card

Alphabank issues the AEGEAN BONUS VISA in collaboration with the airline AEGEAN. For every purchase made in all stores with your card, you earn points which you can then redeem for free AEGEAN tickets or get significant discounts with program partners.

Specifically, on all your purchases for Aegean airline tickets, you earn 4 points for every euro you spend. This means if you buy £500 worth of airline tickets, you will automatically earn 1000 points on your card. Once you have accumulated the necessary points/miles, you can convert them into free tickets!
